A group of eleven major LE organizations have developed a 16-page document to be used as a template for Law Enforcement agencies to compare and enhance their existing policies.

These Commission meetings are of crucial importance to the future of policing in America, and we are pleased to report that IADLEST was well represented at the Commission meetings.

During Late June 2020, IADLEST was asked to participate in an international web-based conference being produced by the Dubai Police of the United Ara Emirates. The conference was to focus on the world-wide pandemic Covid-19and the affects the disease was having on law enforcement activities and response to police responsibilities.

Karl Bickel, a retired US Department of Justice Senior Policy Analyst writes in an op ed for the Baltimore Sun: "This supposedly “new” idea has actually been around for two decades. It is inexcusable that it has not been embraced by law enforcement leaders, adequately funded and put to use protecting police departments and the communities they serve from rogue cops."
